Trip to Seldom Seen Farm

Alison and I recently visited Seldom Seen Farm near Danville. Seldom Seen Farm is a rarity in Hendricks County – an organic vegetable farm! You can purchase their produce at the Broad Ripple farmers’ market or through their CSA program.

Above – the spring field, full of potatoes, broccoli, kohlrabi, turnips, beets, radishes, kale, chard and more!

This hoop house contains 1,000 tomato plants and is expected to produce nearly 6,000 lbs. of tomatoes.

This is the ‘salad field’ full of onions and dozens of varieties of salad greens.

Our gracioius and hardworking host and tour guide,  Farmer John.
